Insights gives Owners and Managers a read on how your organisation is doing, across all your shows, in one place.

⚠ There are no screenshots in this article, on purpose. Every figure on these pages is a real number that changes daily, so a picture of one would be out of date the day it was published — and wrong about a real organisation. The pages themselves are the current version.

Where to find each part

Insights is not one page. Each part lives with the product it belongs to:

What it covers

Each part lives with the product it belongs to, rather than on one combined tab:

• Ticketing — a roll-up of ticket sales across all your productions, so you can see how the season is tracking overall, not just one show at a time. Under Box Office ▸ Insights.
• Public reach — how busy your public website and audition pages are, and roughly where in the world people are coming from. Under Presence ▸ Reach.
• Account health — your plan, storage, people, productions by phase and last activity. On your Organisation ▸ Dashboard, below the setup cards.

Reading the reach figures

Reach shows two headline numbers, and they answer different questions.

• Visits counts visitor-days. One person who comes back on ten days counts as ten.
• Avg daily visitors is the average number of people on your site each day. This is the number to read when you want to know how big your audience is.

Prompter cannot tell you how many different people visited across the whole month, and it is important to know why. The analytics work without cookies, so a visitor is recognised only for the day of the visit — the identifier is replaced every midnight. Prompter cannot join yesterday's visit to today's, which is exactly what keeps the analytics private.

So treat Visits as a measure of activity, not of audience size. If you want to know whether more people are finding your site, watch Avg daily visitors — that figure stays comparable from one month to the next.

The same rule applies to the country list: it counts visits from each country, not separate people.

Privacy

Insights is scoped strictly to your own organisation — you only ever see your own numbers. The visitor figures are aggregate and privacy-respecting: Prompter's analytics don't use cookies or track individuals across days, so there's no consent banner and nothing intrusive about how the counts are gathered.
